Left to Right: Eric Troyer, Bev Bevan and P. Hux in Santiago, Chile, 1999. After getting the gig as the new guitarist/singer with ELO Part II, Hux woodshedded in L.A. for six weeks, learning the band's incredible thirty-eight song set. For a while there he couldn't tell a Sweet Talking Woman from an Evil one, but he forged on, eventually learning all the guitar and vocal parts. In February, Hux was off on his first tour: Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. One highlight was the Santiago show, where a crowd of 5000 went ballistic from the moment the band hit the stage. Amazing! The next day, Eric, Bev and Hux explored the city, including climbing a wooded hill to take in this view.
